Christian Chat Rooms of Faithwalk are Monitored by volunteers from different  denominations
and backgrounds, we are here to bring together Christians and non Christians alike.


Christianfaithwalk is NOT a dating site, it was setup primarily as a bible site, it is for
Christians to communicate in an open and free enviroment without prejudice or alienation
of any persons belonging to other denominations or beliefs

You may choose any number of rooms remembering that some are ministry rooms rather than
chatting rooms, these rooms include: FAITHWALKERS INSPIRE |  THE AUDIO ROOM |


VIDEO AND MUSIC TALK however is a chat room, come video watch

The Haven is for general chat , but there are no hard and fast rules concerning what you
chat about in any room as long as you do not spoil the enjoyment of other chatters

You are more than welcome as a  guest in the  chatrooms  (when guest access is enabled)

Although you must register with us to enjoy all the features including blogs and the faithwalkforums

Everyone must be careful when  sending personal information over the Internet and through chatrooms.

Christianfaithwalk  makes chat rooms , forums and blogs available to its users. Please always  
remember that any information that is disclosed on these sites becomes public information and you
should always exercise caution when  disclosing  personal information to others. Christianfaithwalk
does not collect any personal information from the chat rooms, forums or blog site that can personally
identify you in any  way

We do not knowingly allow anyone to provide any personal identifying information on our websites.

If you are aware of someone who has registered or logged into Faithwalks sites who may  be under
the age of 13 please report this to a monitor

Email addresses are required in order to register, but those are never
shared with any third parties and are only used for registration purposes. In addition, users must be
13 years or older in order to register please remember this.


Again these sites of Christianfaithwalk  are a  public area open free of charge to Internet users 13 years
of age or older. The messages,
opinions and other material an individual user posts are the sole responsibility of that user. Christian
Faithwalk does not control the messages, information or files delivered to the site.

through the site. By posting a message to this area, the user agrees to be bound by this policy.

Safety

We ask that no one under 13 years of age should provide any information to this or any other site
without permission of their parent/carer.

At Christianfaithwalk we put your  your online safety at as paramount.

Anything you type in a chat room can be seen by everyone who is using that chat room so be
careful when typing

Always choose a nickname that you intend to use both now and in the future

With Christianfaithwalk you can only register the once so remember to ensure you use the same
nickname and password for the faithwalkforums also

Never give out any personal information whilst chatting online . That means your real name,
telephone or  phone number, banking details, mailing address, passwords,  etc. Even if someone
tells you it is public domain information or gives you a story that might sound plausible, NEVER
give out personal information

Never accept files or downloads or urls (links) from people you don't know

Anything you type in a chat room can be seen by everyone who is using that chat room, unless you
use "private message"

Always use a nickname, DO NOT use an email address or your own name

Christianfaithwalk does not collect personally identifiable information and registrations only
collect your email address, birthday and country

YOUR IP

Our web site server logs will store the IP address of individual accessing this web site. Your IP address,
can identify the household where the user accessed this website.

This information
is not available to our website or our staff, but we may report unlawful activity to your ISP in order
to identify you for possible legal action.

This IP address will not be shared  unless  the following circumstances occur:

1) If our attorney requests this information relevant to a pending or current legal matter in which you
are a potential or actual party or otherwise contributed in some way to the causation of the legal
matter at hand.

2) If a government agency, or an attorney, subpoenas your private information, or makes a formal
and official request for discovery pursuant to any legal action, or pending legal action against you.


User Responsibility

Our registered users are able to edit personal information in their profiles, which are made available
to others in the chat room. It is the responsibility of the user to decide on individual content for a
profile.

We strongly advise users not to place personal email addresses, or contact numbers in their
profiles. We reserve the right to edit and remove profiles where innapropriate personal information is
displayed.


CHAT ROOM TRANSCRIPTS

We do keep a record of all chat room conversations . These transcripts will not normally
be passed on to a third party outside this organisation, however we reserve the right to do so if
appropriate. Transcripts of chatroom conversations may be  used by Christianfaithwalk
admin/monitors  when investigating problems and complaints may they arise

We do not sell or provide personal information to anyone else for any commercial or marketing
purposes


Donations

Christianfaithwalk uses Paypal to handle all credit/debit card payments, via secure server. We do not
have sight of customer credit/debit card details.

All  credit/debit card information is held by Paypal. All enquiries relating to this should be
addressed directly to Paypal using the unique reference number provided by Paypal upon transaction.

Christianfaithwalk does not ask for donations through email or through newsletter, you may however
support us , as these sites do cost money to keep running

As mentioned above we do not advertise on our sites through ads to other parties

The only source of support is through the one page "be a faithwalk partner"



Adverts

You will notice we do not advertise on our sites and you should not find any adverts that may offend
or cause alarm, Faithwalk does not place emphasis on advertising and was never setup with this in
mind. If you notice any offensive advertising posted on the forums or blog site please report this
and it will be removed

CRB

We have a CRB checked youth worker who is at hand to help, BUT REMEMBER Monitors are not
trained counsellors, we are here to ensure your online  safety ONLY

The owner of ChristianFaithwalk has extensive  CRB checks every year as a sunday school teacher and as
a child minder/helper and works to ensure peoples  safety  online (hence the name "Guardian")

MONITORS

Monitors will not tolerate bullying or any offensive language, any flaming or posting on our sites or
chatrooms merely intended to alarm or cause offence will be dealt with accordingly

All monitors of Faithwalk have signed
an extensive form in agreement that they understand and abide by ChristianFaithwalks Monitor
policies and terms

To apply to be a monitor in our chatrooms, you must be known for at least one year, you
must then wait to be considered as a monitor, you will be validated and confirmed and must
supply a reference from a lawyer,teacher,accountant, in other words ...you must supply a
"character reference"

You would then be asked to supply a profile that can be seen on the monitors profile pages

Our existing Monitors s who have  "RED" names have been known by Christianfaithwalk
for many years , some going back over 5 years and they are experienced in dealing with
most situations in a chat room environment

Monitor Rules

Monitors are here to help and guide, all members must respect and comply with monitors
instructions, you realise by entering faithwalk that monitors are here to help and to guide
the chat in an appropriate  way and fashion, if you are disrespectful to a monitor you may find
yourself leaving the community

You enter Faithwalk Chatrooms at your own Risk, Monitors are here to guide and eo help

You realise by registering with chat or being a guest of Faithwalk that Monitors have a tough time
helping chat to run smoothly and by observing the rules of chat and complying with the guidelines
you are assisting chat and setting an example to others

If you are banned or booted by a monitor for whatever reason you agree not to use our chatrooms
to repeatedly come back in, to defend, cause alarm or to chat in the main room about the reasons and
causes of your boot or ban, this can be done in  pm to a monitor or by emailing

EVENT LEADERS

Event leaders are in green and are able to lead events, they are also able to "boot" should the
need arise, event leaders  usually supply  references  and again sign an extensive agreement form
after which some may supply profiles and of course are validated to ensure safety


Reporting and Red Alert

Remember you can always copy and paste the chat screen

HOW ?  Either copy and paste , by left clicking your mouse and scrolling your mouse over the words,
you will notice the words will now have a  black outline, now right click your mouse and on the drop
down menu select "Copy"

Now paste the material you want to report to a note pad or email or wordpad

OR you may copy the screen whilst in the  chat rooms by clciking on the  "print screen"
key on your keyboard, now go to "start" bottom left of your desktop and find "paint"

If your using xp then this will be in the accessories folder

Simply go to "paint" and click on your ctrl key And V to copy the screen to "paint"

Now save as or send via email

YOU will also notice from time to time bots in our chatrooms, there are three bots altogether

1. scripture_bot  2. faithwalk_bot  3. panic_button

You can send an alert to any one of these bots by double clicking on the name in the right hand
user list or right clciking and choosing "private message" you can send a private message to one
of these bots informing them of your concerns

Remember not to use these for general chat or for false alerts, remember also that misusing or
abusing  this service, may result in your own termination of account

CHATLOGS

Chat logs are available and make all accountable, you will find the chat logs at the top right hand
of the screen, all logs are recorded, but you can use these to copy chat that might offend or cause
alarm.

Private messages are not available to chatters nor monitors but however can be summoned and
recovered by faithwalk should they be needed for legal purposes

Do NOT copy and  post private messages onto the chat screen for all to see

If a private message offends you then report it in the above mentioned fashion via email, a bot,
or a monitor.

Conditions for using faithwalk chatrooms are:

The basic terms of Faithwalk are: we will not accept racist remarks or comments, we will not accept swearing or flirtatious behaviour. Further detailed terms below

1. Make sure you visit this page often for updates or ammendments as by entering and being a

You will not post  Material which is copyrighted or trademarked without first obtaining permission
from the owner or right holder;

5. That you will not post  any material that is  invasive of publicity or
privacy rights, harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, harmful, libelous,  obscene,
profane, hateful, offensive, disruptive, illegal or otherwise objectionable or that would constitute or
encourage a criminal offense or otherwise give rise to liability, or that discriminates on the basis of
race, gender, sexual orientation or ethnicity.

6. That you not impersonate any person or entity, including a Monitor,
employee or volunteer, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person.

7. That you will not ask members for their phone number, physical address or email
or other identifying information of a third party that is not present.

Both the one asking for the information and the one supplying it will be viewed as violating
this rule.

8. That you will not intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or
international law, including but not limited to the regulations promulgated by British law.

9. That you will not in any way shape or form encourage any sexual or flirtatious behavior.


10. That you will not post or transmit any information, software or other material which contains
a virus or other harmful component.

11. That you will not post, upload, distribute or otherwise publish materials soliciting funds,
promoting, advertising or offering for sale any goods or services or links, including soliciting other
users for other commercial and non commercial online services without the express written approval
of ChristianFaithwalk . PLEASE DO NOT USE CHRISTIANFAITHWALK FOR ADVERTISING:

When you register with Faithwalk you agree NOT to use our sites to advertise or to promote or
too poach people in order to lead them to other chat rooms, BY REGISTERING WITH CHRISTIANFAITHWALK
YOU HAVE TICKED THE AGREEMENT FORM , this agreement is visible on your profile and will be deemed
as broken should you use our sites for advertising or poaching

12. That you do not ask for money, solicit for funds, ask international transfers of money as part of
a Scam.

You will not post or encourage the posting of links or to encourage the participation of
adult entertainment, sexual immorality or pagan and false religions.

No flooding the screen or using the Chatroom or sites of faithwalk for urls to direct chatters elsewhere

By entering our sites you realise that you are joining   a Christian Family community and that you
would treat others as you yourself would like to be treated and to respect others beliefs

Faithwalk is not to be used in a way to attack, offend, flame, aggravate, shock or deliberately
cause disarray and any chatter , user, who uses faithwalk sites in this way will have their accounts
terminated

We reserve the right to:

move any discussion, topic or post ,in the community areas be it in chat, forum or blog to a
different place for any reason at our
sole discretion; edit any discussion, post at our sole discretion whatever or wherever the topic or
post may be


We reserve the right to: block or  restrict, ban or boot  any user or offenders for any reason
as well as remove any content at our sole discretion.


To make sure people adhere to this policy we reserve the right too:Monitor
and disclose any
content, records or electronic communication, of any kind, including user e-mail
